3 is not a company, but 4 is more the merrier!

The holidays can be the most merry of times for some, where others can be left very lonely and only reminded of this during the season. As we are flow with the rush of the holiday festivities, checking our lists once and checking them twice, perhaps we can take a third look and make sure none are forgotten.

Lets take this moment of opportunity to reach out to those friends and family members we haven’t seen in a while. You know, the one’s we keep thinking to ourselves to finally make that phone call and reach out to. Throughout the course of our year, we all experience a little turbulence from time to time. This is the nature of the ride of life. It is easy to get lost and distracted in our routines, especially when our days add on a little more than anticipated. The truth is, triumph over tragedy doesn’t always come for most. Hardships and heartache may be the order some may receive and it makes it even harder during the times where one should be most merry and bright.

As we are in the season of gift of giving, the best present one could be most grateful to receive is simply your presence. Step back in moments of silence of others only so that you can attentively step forward with your best regards. Be mindful to each of whom  seemingly reach out to you. The attitude of the holidays is more the merrier. Though this idea should be more of a consideration towards a bigger part of our being, lifestyle and carried through as a best practice of each of our days. 3 is never a crowd, four is more, it takes one to start a flame but it takes a village to keep the flame ignited, otherwise it will quickly extinguish. Let us unite to keep the fire lit and may it be the light for all. Go forward with open arms and  smiles wide. Sharing love and making spirits bright. It is easy to remember those who are near, but let us not forget those that are far. As we engage by the attraction of the gathering crowd, let us also magnetically invite those who are without sound.

The best gifts that we can give in this life to another are not those we can wrap, unless they are first with your open arms. May everyone receive a beautiful and bright day today and always! Much love and Happy holidays!

Start your Engines!

It is a new day, a new week and lets face it, almost a new year! Before we get ahead of ourselves though, lets remain in the day we know for certain and focus on the now. Many of you this morning were probably snoozing the alarm 5 times, groaning at the thought of opening your eyes and taking that first step out of your warm comfy bed. This may be some of the habitual habit of the Monday’s and perhaps in some cases, everyday. No matter what it is one thing I will just say GET UP!

What is in a name of a day, really? Let’s say it outloud- Mon-day, Tues-day, Wednes-day… Ok I know we all get it. They are all days and for the most part, well they are intangibly the same. We know that each gives us the same amount of hours. As long as each day comes around, this time also allows for opportunity and these are unrestricted. Not one day has its own set of rules and outcomes. Success has no discrimination to a day. Neither does trial and errors. Great or not, the unforseen road isn’t revealed on one particular day. However you perceive the views ahead of you, your reaction will be your determination. If you start of your morning beating the clock, you are going to remain in that mindset to do so throughout your day. The anxious feeling of getting out of bed will lead to the anxiety of getting to work on time, and leaving you anxious throughout your day to meeting deadlines, taking the time for an adequate lunch, and seeing how many seconds you can beat the clock to getting out of the door. The thought of this all is making my head spin. Your level of productivity doesn’t rely on you constantly beating the clock, but pacing yourself through the time that you are given. Pressure will exceed us until it is released. We can’t start our day this way and expect the day to be kind to us. The quality of our thoughts will reflect in the service we are to give and ultimately receive.

Before you open your eyes each morning, feed your mind well with the visions you see for this day. One that will have you ready to get out of your bed in the morning. An excitement that is your fuel to start. Our minds are the most powerful modes of transportation. Whether you decide to be driven is up to you. If you have the capability of thinking, you have the power and ability of doing exactly this too. The end result of success in all that we do, is simply doing, not thinking. This is where you restrict yourself otherwise. Existence is when you start. The key is your movement and you are your stop and go. What ever you may see in front of you, when the road seems impossible all you have left of doing is starting your engine. You will begin with the tools to serve yourself well and others the same. Fuel up, take your first step forward and keep going! Live each day well. Wake up with the smile you wish to fall asleep with. This starts with breaking the negative and creating positive habits. Smile to a good morning for a great day! This smile will carry you through a restful night.

Happy Monday and embrace your everyday! Keep moving!
